Overview
JHPCN invites applications for Joint Research Projects every year. We welcome interdisciplinary research proposals from groups of researchers with diverse expertise, with computational science, data science, and computer science as the three main pillars. In particular, we encourage proposals that create new interdisciplinary research areas by integrating these three fields with one another or with various application fields.
Research Support for Accepted Projects
Projects accepted as Joint Research Projects can use, free of charge and within the approved allocation, computing resources such as supercomputers operated by JHPCN member institutions, as well as mdx, a computing platform focused on data science and data utilization and jointly operated by nine universities and two research institutions, including all JHPCN member institutions.
By participating in and presenting their research at the annual JHPCN Symposium, project members can build new research networks and further advance their research and development activities. Financial support may also be available for expenses such as presenting research成果 overseas and article publication charges.
The schedule for Joint Research Projects is available here.
Collaborative Research with Researchers at JHPCN Member Institutions
Each JHPCN member institution is home to many leading researchers specializing in computational science, data science, and computer science. Collaborating with these researchers can provide opportunities to further develop and expand your research.
If you are looking for a research collaborator at a JHPCN member institution, please contact the JHPCN office in advance.
